StevieNicksThe first handful of dates have surfaced for Stevie Nicks' summer U.S. tour in support of her just-released album, "Trouble in Shangri-La." The outing will begin in early July. Related artist profiles: Stevie Nicks A July 7 stop in Michigan is the first confirmed date on the tour, but the actual kick-off is expected to take place on July 6 in Pittsburgh, according to Nicks' official website. A full U.S. itinerary will be announced soon, according to a spokesperson. "Trouble in Shangri-La" (Reprise) was released on May 1 and debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard 200 album chart. The album also debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's Top Internet Albums chart, which measures online album sales. Nicks' new album features guest appearances from Dixie Chicks' Natalie Maines (on "Too Far from Texas"), Macy Gray ("Bombay Sapphires"), Sarah McLachlan ("Love Is") and Sheryl Crow ("Sorcerer"). "Every Day," the latest single from "Shangri-La," is currently at No. 21 on Billboard's Adult Contemporary singles chart. |
