Pittsburgh Steelers Coach Mike Tomlin

The Pittburgh Steelers have had sixteen head coaches in their team history. The most recent coach is Mike Tomlin, who is the first African-American coach that Pittsburgh has hired. Before coaching the Steelers, Tomlin spent the 2006 NFL season being the defensive coordinator for the Minnesota Vikings. Before that, he coached the previous five seasons (2001-05) as defensive backs coach for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Pittsburgh holds the record for the most Super Bowl wins with six victories to their team's credit. The following Steelers players have been named Super Bowl MVP:

Super Bowl IX - Franco Harris
Super Bowl X - Lynn Swann
Super Bowl XIII - Terry Bradshaw
Super Bowl XIV - Terry Bradshaw
