Phoenix International Speedway in Phoenix, Arizona opened in 1964 to the name of “The Desert Jewel.” It is a 1 mile, short tri-oval and it seats 76,800 NASCAR fans. In April, Phoenix Speedway will host the Subway Fresh Fit 500 and the Checker Auto Parts 500 presented by Penzoil in November for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series.
The NASCAR Nationwide Series will be there in April for the Bashas’ Supermarkets 200 and in November for the Arizona Travel 200. Phoenix will also see the drivers of the NASCAR Craftsman truck series for the Casino Arizona 150.

Items Allowed into the race:
One soft-sided bag or cooler no larger than 6 X 6 X 12.
One clear plastic bag no larger than 18 X 18 X 4. This bag may not contain ice.
Binoculars, headsets, scanners and cameras, not in a bag, worn separately around the neck or the belt and one seat cushion carried in separately.
Items NOT allowed into the race:
Seat cushions with hollow tube construction.
Fireworks, firearms, or weapons of any kind.
Hard sided coolers, thermoses, or insulated cups of any kind.
Strollers, umbrellas, scooters, skateboards or pets.
No alcohol may be brought onto the property.
All daily non-reserved parking is free.
