Daytona International Speedway Daytona 500 Tickets
Daytona International Speedway in Daytona, Florida, is probably the most well-known raceway in the United States. Built on a swamp in the 1950’s, this monster-of-a racetrack seats 168,000, and every seat is needed. The Daytona 500 race in February starts off the auto-racing season for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series.
Daytona is also the location of NASCAR headquarters. The track at Daytona Speedway is 2.5 miles long and is a tri-oval super speedway. The Sprint Cup series racers will be back for the July Daytona race, the Pepsi 400. NASCAR Nationwide Series fans can check out their favorite stock car racers here in February for the Orbitz 300 and in July for the Winn Dixie 250 presented by PepsiCo. Also in February, the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series will host the Chevy Silverado HD 250. Reserve your Daytona 500 tickets today.
Since 1959, Daytona International Speedway has hosted the Daytona 500 NASCAR auto race, now the culmination of an action-packed, exciting two-week long festival of speed for NASCAR fans known simply as Speedweeks. In early July, Daytona Speedway hosts the night-time running of the Pepsi 400 Nextel Cup race. We offer Pepsi 400 tickets here. The Daytona Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida is the home of "The Great American Race" - the Daytona 500. Though the season opening NASCAR Sprint Cup race garners most of the attention – as well as the largest audience in motorsports – the enormous 480-acre auto racing complex boasts the most diverse schedule of racing on earth, thus earning it the title of "World Center of Racing." In addition to 10 major weekends of racing activity including the Daytona 500 and Pepsi 400, rarely a week goes by that the Speedway grounds are not used for events that include civic and social gatherings, car shows, photo "shoots," production vehicle testing and police motorcycle training.
"The Speedway is a venue that is known throughout the world as a place where everyone in motorsports wants to claim a victory," said Speedway President Robin Braig. "However, we're also committed to being versatile enough and responsive enough to provide a site where community activities can successfully be held." Daytona Speedway is an all around fantastic venue for a variety of events, especially races!
Year Round Schedule of Events
After a jam-packed month of sports car and stock car testing in January, no less than 16 days of on-track activity mark the track’s annual Speedweeks events. Its diversity includes sports car drivers from more than 20 foreign countries and the United States in the Grand American Road Racing Association's Rolex 24 At Daytona. In recent years, the Rolex 24 has garnered more attention from stock car drivers like Dale Earnhardt Jr., Kyle Petty and Tony Stewart who have tested their skills against the sport’s best. The Rolex 24 kicks off three weeks of NASCAR Sprint Cup, Nationwide Series, Craftsman Truck Series, True Value IROC, Goody’s Dash Series and ARCA RE/MAX Series racing that culminates with the Daytona 500 at the Daytona International Speedway.
Coinciding with the Daytona Beach community’s "Bike Week," every March Daytona International Speedway hosts two weeks of intense motorcycle racing with Daytona 200 Week. Racers and fans from around the world converge on the Speedway for the best in road racing, supercross and dirt track competition. Nine days of two-wheeled action concludes with the American Motorcyclist Association-sanctioned Daytona Supercross By Honda and the Daytona 200 By Arai Helmets.
In April the Big Boys Toy Box and APBA Offshore Grand Prix treat motorcycle, car, boat and specialty vehicle enthusiasts to the "World’s Largest Toybox" and offshore boat racing.
