@ @ @ @ @ @ @ d The 51st running of the annual Daytona 500 will take place at Daytona International Speedway on February 15, 2009. NASCARs signature event will kick off the new NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season, and this year promises to be more exciting than ever! Also called The Great American Race, the Daytona 500 is a culmination of DIRECTV Speedweeks, a 10 day festival of speed which includes the Camping World 300 Nationwide Series race, the Chevy Silverado 250 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race, the Gatorade Duel at Daytona Qualifying races, the Budweiser Shootout, the ARCA 200 ARCA/REMAX Series race, and the Daytona 500 Qualifying race.
